About me: Hi. My Name is Christian Banck. People call me Christian. I think I'm pretty great, or at least I tell myself that. I love sentence fragments, shit talking, and pretty girls to take pictures of. I occasionally dabble in all things intellectual and somethings abstract and maybe a little artistic. I am ever so often insensitve, if only because I was born awkward and ass-backwards. Wishing i could find some high ground to see all around me. Sometimes, I believe in God, but more often than not, I wonder if it evens matters at all. I think there is a tremendous amount of beauty in the utter insignificance of human existence. like a light in a sea of chaos. meaning in the insignificant. whatever, divinity in the profane and ugly.
the purity of the bottom
thats me.
love it or leave it.
I am a "intellectually slippery" cynic who passionately believes that there is nothing worth truly believing in.
The end of the world does not bother me, we are going to reap what we have sown. Justice is a messy affair all around. I'd rather see myself and the rest of us get what we deserve, than believe that I live in a world with no justice.
I like romantic candle-lit dinners. Walks on the beach, picture books of the holocaust, just to remind me, what lurks in our dark little primate hearts.
I like to hear the things I don't want to hear the most.
whatever. no really, writing a description of myself just seems like a exercise in eliciting a biased response. People are either their own worse critics, or elicit what sounds like a paid testimony at 3:00am infomercial.
It's just not a good way to do it.
I could give you a list a mile long of things that I Love.
I could give you a list a mile long of the things that I hate. Then what would we have? a big pile of horse-shit thats what. Complete with buzzing flies.understand?
but that hardly describes me.
I would like to think I am, or all about me is something greater than the simple sum of my dislikes and likes.
All I know, is that i don't know anything for certain.

Full Sail in Orlando and the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe are the big 2 recording schools. I went to CRAS and later worked with others who attended Full Sail and believe CRAS provided a better education. Plus it's a whole lot cheaper. I would actually like to go back and do it over again! I'd be happy to answer any questions your friend has.
Congrats on the upcoming graduation, but I can't figure out why all the smart people want to stay in school. Come to think of it I kind of wish I'd gone straight back for an MBA. Instead I opted to pursue a career path (audio engineering) that is near impossible to earn a living at. So I just play engineer in my project studio at home. I'd like to get some songs placed in film/television spots eventually. We'll see!
I've been well. Adjusting to married life, trying to be a rock star, and looking for a new job! Shannon shows me some of the photography that you post... I'm quite impressed! Is that your day job now or just a dream job?
Tara has thumbed through them I believe, but you know how women are when it comes to making up their mind, especially on pictures. I'll put some pressure on her to make her decision on what pics we want you to print this week. She said she is very happy with them, so thanks for the job well done.
You find your model yet? You should get Abby to do it ;)
Christian, my friend: It is wholly intolerable that you listed "W" as one of your heroes. This capitalist swine’s jingoistic military policies have lead directly to the deaths of 4,000 of America’s best, plus the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents. Other than that, Great MYSPACE page. Kudos on your photographic genius. PS--I insist that you place me higher in your “friends” queue. (I should at least be list above your brother Andrew, I mean, come on!) Who else but me in this whole stupid world is smarter than you ? Besides, I know many of your deepest, darkest secrets. You know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer!
The land there is more available, and a bit cheaper then St. Tammany was one of the main reasons. We plan to home school the boys, and send them to private school when they get older, so I wasn't concerned about the school system, but we are still close enough to do pretty much everything in Covington. We're only a mile inside of Washington Parish.
I posted a comment back to you under my picture, then realized you are probably not going to go back and look for a reply. We bought some land just inside Washington Parish, on that gravel road right before Turkey Road off HWY 450. Thats my new pond.
I'll be at my sister-in-laws for her birthday all day. If I can get away I'll stop by. I'll try to go see your work another time if I can't make it. It will be there 6 weeks?
Ain't nothing wrong with being single! You know Heather is... wink wink! haha! I got my degree in Organizational Communications. If I go back I'm going to concentrate in Marketing. Preston's going for his bachlors in Graphic Design, so I'm hoping we can do something together one day... but that might suck being together all the time. hehe We need to hang out one night. Heather, Hillary and I go to the Pub all the time.

Wow, that's awesome. I wish I could say my life is as exciting... I graduated from SLU in 2004, but have yet to do anything with it. Thinking about going back soon. I got married Nov 2006 to Preston. I don't know if you ever met him or not. I currently work at a bank, boring I know, but it pays the bills :) Anyway, I'm just living everyday as it comes. Girlfriend?
I've been great. I saw you on Heather's page, I don't think I've seen you since high school! You are very talented, I love your pictures :) What have you been doing.
About 32 bucks when you tack on all the little fees ticketmaster and HOB throw in there. They are performing with a pretty cool Swedish band on this half of the tour.
