Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in the bull breeds especially pit bulls. We rescue abused, unwanted and stray dogs and find them responsible, safe homes where they can thrive both physically and mentally. We believe that the public needs to be educated about the breeds characteristics to understand the breeds that we love. Through humane education programs and activities, we hope to make the public better understand the bull breeds that so often discriminated against.
These activities include:
1. Fun shows that include activities that can be done with your dog (i.e. weight pull, conformation, obedience, protection, and agility).
2. Educational seminars for families especially those at risk of illegal activities which frequently include dog fighting.
3. Community education programs to enlighten the residents of what is happening in their community.

Hope you have a GREAT Halloween. I used Isabella, a hearing service Chihuahua, that I had the pleasure of photographing the beginning of the summer. This pic of her didn't make it into her portfolio...but I thought her expression for this Halloween tag was priceless!
The
Guernsey County, Ohio Commissioners have mandated a 100% euthanasia
policy for all pitbull and pitbull mixes who come to the pound. Owner
surrenders will be euthanized immediately and strays will be euthanized
in 3 days. Read the article here: http://www.daily-jeff.com/news/article/4682951.
The
shelter will not permit adoption of or release to rescue any pitbull or
mixed breed dog determined to be pitbull. No exceptions-not even
puppies!
Please contact the Guernsey County Commissioners and let them know this policy is wrong!

The other day I took photographs of a client's 24 year old Arabian Mare known as Sandarac Solatair, affectionately known as Mama. She is a Champion or winner at: halter, showmanship, trail, barrel racing, pole bending, texas barrels, western pleasure and costume. Some of her official titles are 1989 Reserve Champion Arabian, 1990 & 1991 Champion Arabian at the Henry County Fair; QCAHC Reserve Champion Most Classic Arabian Head and Reserve Champion Western Pleasure & Reserve Champion Specialty. I made this tag for her using one of the photos that I tubed. Hope you like it!
Happy Tuesday!! I love this day as it is the beginning of my days off. I am dog tired today tho......I need to wake up.
Gave my cats a bath when I got off work this morning. Poor Hannah is just so sick and weak she could hardly give any fight. I am scared for my kitty I hope she gets better soon. She ended up going into her cat box right after her bath. I had to rewash her again so the litter would unstick from her fur. Geeez what do they put into that stuff? She went and hid in our closet after that. I sent Lionel in to go get her, he told me she was telling on me saying, "Mama did it."
Her sissy fought like a wild cat, once turning the shower on me by accident........or was it? Hmmmmm......
Meet Owen...he's an adorable Corgi that I had the pleasure of photographing last week. I thought he'd be adorable for my Labor Day greeting tag...Hope you like him!
