Interests

  • General

Skiing/Snowboarding... few things turn me on more than being propelled down the steep face of a snow capped mountain.

Mountain Biking... you haven't lived until you've blasted down a single track trail at breakneck speed attempting to dodge rocks, roots, and trees while trying to stay upright.

Golfing... Sometimes you just need to relax and move at your own leisurely pace with good friends...

Traveling... The more exotic the better.

Playing guitar... I used to be in a band and could never quite give it up.

Blurbs

About me:

I love meeting new people and making new friends. A certain amount of mystique is always good so I'll just give you a little for now... For starters, I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest but am currently living in the Reading,PA area where I corrupt young minds and challenge their preconceptions as a college professor. Although most would probably consider what they do for a living "work" I really don't... I'm fortunate enough to have found a career that I absolutely love and consider a "hobby".

I love having a good time whether it be hanging out at a club with friends, mountain biking, skiing/snow boarding, traveling, going to a movie, taking in a symphony or play, or just hanging out. I’m physically active and love trying new things but I also have a fairly laid back personality so I can have a good time just about anywhere doing just about anything.

Family and friends are very important to me and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. My parents live in Oregon, my sister in Washington state and my grandmother in Iowa but I usually fly back west a few times a year to see them.

If you've added me here, you should also Facebook me!

Who I'd like to meet:

ANYONE who isn't afraid to take chances and can combine intelligence and humor along with a different way of seeing the world...

I do but usually only at the fairview since it's usually when I'm DJing. right now work. DJing, the kid and my band are taking up all of my "free time". usually if someone's out and they call me I try to make an appearance though.

Well you tell Chi Siva Simmel, that the messianic implications of realized eschatology is a false reality that I don't think is all that relivant. After you will never see a midget play professional basketball, or a 3 legged ox recite a spice girls song, so I believe it all to up to the person who believes.

I hear it is green in Iceland. Glad you're having a relaxing summer...it's soon over but surprisingly I don't mind, because my heart skips a few beats when I think of autumn. I can't wait for it.
