a happy accident - a pleasant situation or event that is not planned or intended. We never planned to have a third child - it was a happy accident.
For the moment at least, we plan to have most of our happy accidents in a musical context. We all do other music stuff and some of it's quite demanding, what with rehearsals, travelling and all. This is our easy-going fun band.
We never rehearse and what little we work out in advance is all done via CD-Rs, emails and SMS. As a result, when we play live, there is an element of risk in that it could all go horribly wrong. However, most of the time, we are delighted to say, we end up with a pleasing (to us, at least) flurry of little happy accidents.
