COOLER BY THE LAKE is a freakish rock 'n' roll side show on the main stage. They claim every rock club as their own and stick their flags into the loins of sound men like conquered moons in a fucked up universe full of snaggle-tooth drunks that think they have the answer to everything if they simply unbuckle their pants. There are no wrong turns at a COOLER BY THE LAKE show, just the big-haired badass bitch in front of you slugging her way for a better view. Ooh, so right. You don't have to like their music, but if you manage to crap out a golden horseshoe and be lucky enough to see them, YOU WILL LOVE THIS BAND. Sure they've played with Asia, The Fixx, The Little River Band, and Molly Hatchet (this is very real, dear reader), but they also raged with Nashville Pussy, The Traitors, Danko Jones, and Cherry Valence. Heck, Jimmy Kimmel even had 'em as the background band during a live simulcast of a bacon eating contest. You can't pin these guys down simply as Meatloaf meets Dio, or Danzig meets Asia or any other comparisons some jagbag reviewer plowing through a box of demos would've conjured up in his spare time. No, not COOLER BY THE LAKE. They are the missing link between the music that got your parents in trouble and the oddball art rock wannabes of today.
COOLER BY THE LAKE is looking for shows all the time, especially outside of Chicago and around the Midwest Region. They will rock your pants off and then iron them for you.

cooler by the lakesters, enjoy a fresh tune from Check out Jumpsuit's new compostition which will be featured in Minnesota artist David Hamlow's work "Sphere." The piece is a large sphere created from the detritus of his life from the years 1994-1998. Jumpsuit gathers together some of that same detritus and crafts a song entitled "Voice of Reason." We'll let you know where and when you can go see the sphere, but for now check out the sounds.
