About me:
CCA is a unique contemporary arts organisation at the heart of Glasgow’s city centre and vibrant cultural community.
With an eclectic programme offering visual arts, music, film, talks and performance, there’s always something interesting going on.
CCA curates six major exhibitions a year, showing a wide range of Scottish and international contemporary art, as well as being home to Intermedia Gallery for emerging artists. Fast developing a reputation for world class improvised, experimental and electronic music, CCA also screens independent short, dance and documentary films otherwise unavailable across the city.
Committed to supporting the development of new work, CCA offers a programme of artist residencies providing studio space and mentoring support. Take a look at this year’s Creative Lab and CALQ residencies.
Entrance to CCA, its exhibitions and many of its events is free, making it an ideal place to spend some time, whether it’s a quick port in a storm, or a leisurely Saturday afternoon.
Come along and engage with the artistic community or simply soak up the creative environment over a coffee or cold beer.
Free wi-fi is available in the courtyard café bar and free computer access is available in the foyer, where you will also find a selection of art books on sale from Aye Aye Books or merchandise available from box office.
