About me: Christians Concerned for the Community is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit, Christian Community Development organization, based in Gainesville, Florida. Lynn and Suzanne Groce started CCC in 1987 to serve the community God had placed them in. Today, CCC works with over 45 local churches, community groups, and government agencies aiming to meet practical, spiritual, and human development needs in Alachua County, Florida. Whether CCC’s small staff or many volunteers are working on a service project, praying with community residents, or mentoring future leaders, we want to be sure we’re sharing God’s love with people.

Thanks for being our friend CCC! A few Gainesville, Florida (Thank you Gators) area Christian bands are having our Legacy of Hope Benefit Concert for Ark of Hope For Children. Ark of Hope is building a group of homes to care for abused and neglected children from foster care in Florida.
The concert is Friday, April 20th @ 7:00pm at The Family Church, 2022 SW 122nd St, Gainesville, Florida. Tickets are a suggested donation of only $5.00!
The featured bands are; Six Days From Sunday, Officer Flossie & The Origins Band. Special guests will be Meghan Isom (Miss Marion County USA 2008) and Logikill.

hey, i used to work for christians concerned for the community. it was my favorite job ive ever had. i pretty much got to do what i would do all day if i didnt have to work......i got to love people and give them things that they needed. i love this ministry, and i am blessed by its existence.
