  • Bio

I have been playing music since I was 9 years old and have studied classical guitar, keyboards and musicianship for many years. As an adult I have learned much more about the beauty of voice and ensemble work and have performed with chamber choirs (Fiori Musicale in Armidale) and major choral groups in Brisbane and Hamilton New Zealand. In recent years I have come to enjoy composing and writing my own music. I like the challenge of conceptualizing and playing all the instruments I use and find it satisfying to work on bringing it all together. Most of the music is original but I have arranged some songs I have always liked as well.

     Hello there!

    I hope life’s treating You fine…

I just uploaded ‘ID part 3; DARK MAZE OF THE LIBIDO’! It’s not exactly Schubert but it’s PERFECT for playing video games under influence. Anything that affects the central nervous system should do… except anti-psychotics. If You are currently on these, You might consider skipping one instead. What’s the worst thing that could happen? The end of mankind? Well… that’s exactly the worst thing that could happen. So, do evaluate Your level of access to weapons of mass destruction beforehand and proceed accordingly, PLEASE.

I hope You’ll enjoy the piece. Your comments are, as always, welcome and much appreciated…

I wish You all the best!

    Peace and love,
    Basil.

P.S. Under the circumstances I would like to humbly dedicate my composition to the people of Cyprus who are being blatantly robbed by domestic and international gangsters.

    Heyyyyyy!!!

Whatup??? I hope it’s all mighty wicked (or freaking awesome).

    So, here’s the big news:
I just uploaded ‘ID part 2; IN THE AFTERLIFE?’, a piece of music unlike anything You’ve ever heard before!!!

Now, I must confess that, if I was reading this, I’d feel less than irresistibly tempted. The pursuit of novelty in music most often leads to such things as superchromatic mental wanking, plain rap or the ever-popular chewing-snoring-farting combo. But, as You already know, I don’t play any of these games. Instead, every single note has been carefully chosen by Yours Truly through a lengthy procedure known as Composing. Yours Truly makes history for real

So, I’d really like for You to take a listen, enjoy and let me know what You think.

Have a fantastic new year, inherit a fortune from an obnoxious relative and spend it naughtily!

    Peace and love,
    Basil.

Have I told You lately that I love You? Have I told You there’s no one else above You?? You fill my heart with gladness, take away all my sadness, ease my troubles, that’s what… You do!

Soooooooooo... ... I’m sharing with You the 1st part, ‘FOR WE MAY NEVER MAKE IT’, of my super-composition, ‘ID’, which is, as of today, streaming throughout the Globe (as well as the international space station) making lives better, healing diseases, ending wars, impeding criminal activity et cetera. I strongly believe it’s a MARVELOUS piece and I would like to ask You to spend a few quality minutes of Your life listening to it. Your comments are, as always, welcome and much appreciated.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your message. Sorry for the delay in my reply and if I take a while to reply to your messages in the future, but I've been away on travel and have over 2000 unread messages on MySpace!

    Have a great weekend,
