CCMF (cherry city music fest) is a collaborative effort between musicians, venue owners and community members to build economy embracing arts and culture. Our mission is as follows:
1. Provide opportunity for musicians - Whether it be giving local musicians an outlet for their work, or regional / touring acts a reason to come to Salem… This event is planned by musicians, for musicians.
2. Support local businesses - We want to bring new faces into the doors of venues, bars and coffee shops in Salem, while also giving people a reason to walk around and enjoy our quirky city.
3. Proceeds to Non-Profits - This event is a fundraiser for local non-profits that support art and culture. This year's event will benefit the Mid-Valley Video Festival, and Isaac’s Room, both 501 (c)(3) non-profits.
