About me:
After attending PJC to earn my degree in A.A. in Vocal Performing Music, I left for Tallahassee where I graduated in 1996 from FSU with a B.A. degree in General Theatre. I married in 1996 to Alan S. Nelson. That following school year, I began my M.F.A. in Costume Design in 1996 at FSU but left in 1997.
Since graduating from high school, I got bit really bad by the acting bug and I have been active in theatre and musical theatre since 1992. Since I began performing in the Spring of 1992, I have performed in 35 productions and designed for 21 productions, one of which I won Best Costume Design for the 1996-1997 Tallahassee Little Theatre season for the Production of "Present Laughter". I have performed as leading ladies in "The Pajama Game"(which I played opposite my husband) and "The Music Man". Currently, I am cast in the Tallahassee premiere of the production of "The Scarlet Pimpernel". I will be playing various roles in the small women's ensemble (one of eight ensemble women).
I just became a mother for the second time in October 2004 with the birth of beautiful new daughter, Katherine Ann. My first child, Nicolas Alexander, was born in April 2003. I am also the "mother" to two wonderful chihuahua puppies. I am currently working at my children's pre-school as one of the teachers in the infant to 18 month room..
