I try to read my Bible daily. Have recently finished reading clear through NIV, so am now reading through The Message to get a fresh feeling as I read. I have also enjoyed reading through The Chronological Bible--very informative and puts things in historical order. | | Heroes | Anyone who goes above and beyond for no reason other than to help someone else.

About me:
My kids are on myspace (Carla, Laura, and Steve on my top friends), so I decided it was time to create my own profile. I have been married to Tim for over 25 years (9/26/1981). We have three children: Steve, Laura, and Carla. I am a stay-at-home mom and have homeschooled all three kids throughout their school years. We live on 17 acres out in the country and have many different kinds of animals, including horses (big and small), goats, a llama, dogs, and many cats. We attend Crossroads Community Church and are involved in the music ministry, youth ministries, and we enjoy and are challenged by the relevant, scriptural teaching. Tim and I have just started being 8th grade small group leaders. We are somewhat out of our comfort zones, but we truly feel that we are doing what God wants us to be doing. We have enjoyed traveling throughout the years and have gone to every state except Alaska and Hawaii (and I think Steve has missed Louisiana....). We've also gone to Canada a couple of times and Tim and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Huatulco, Mexico with friends.
