"Dancing With God" -
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G: I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
"God, "u" and "i" dance."
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies be upon you on this day and every day.
May you abide in God as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful, and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else,
for prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.

A MUST FOR 2008
" We spend too much time trying to pry open doors that God has slammed shut!"
We all want certain things in a life, a certain job, a certain car, a certain house, a certain person to be in a relationship with us etc. But sometimes we need to recognize the blessing in not getting what we want. GOD answers all prayers and sometimes the answer is NO!!!. While we sit and try to figure out how we can manipulate the situation to turn out the way we want it to; we should really be taking a moment to thank him for allowing us to be removed from a potential hazardous situation.
I am learning that everyone and everything is not for me. It is a hard lesson because we all want to see the good or what we want to see in certain people or situations. But when you get to the point where it brings you more tears than smiles, just let it go. People will try and tell you that you should look at it another way, but angels trust me when I tell you that is only to benefit them. Some people are victims and will always be and it will always be someone's else's fault why they didn't get what they thought they deserved.
I read something that said the ending of a thing is better than the beginning. WOW!!!! Amen to that.
I am bringing to an end this year all relationships that GOD slammed the door on long ago.

My endorsement clients include: Red Lobster, Applebees, Olay, HomeGoods and Shower to Shower, just to name a few. I'm also a former Mixer. I also lend my heart, voice, and time to such organizations as The American Heart Association and The United Negro College Fund.
For those of you who don't know, my MOM is my "SHERO." As a teen mother, she instilled love and the goodness of GOD in my heart. My teen mom chose life for me and I'm thankful that GOD allowed me to come through her. My mom knew my life was not a mistake. My mom knew it was work here for me to do. And without my mother's prayers, my mother's belief in me, my mother's words of wisdom and inspiration and most of all my mother's love, I would not be the woman I am today.
I love people and I love what I do. I'm truly blessed and I give GOD "ALL" the glory. My passion is inspiring, motivating and encouraging people to be the best they can be by embracing their inner light and shining upon all of us. I would love the opportunity to work in syndication as well as satellite radio. My goal is to become an Inspirational Speaker and Author.
My life is a testimony that I'm truly blesssed and highly favored. I'm happily married to man who knows and loves the LORD. He is my rock and I'm thankful for him. He blessed me with two beautiful daughters who know and love the LORD. I'm finally living my life like it's GOLDEN! I know the best is yet to come and for that I'm grateful. I give GOD ALL the GLORY! EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize
your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere
relationships, friendships, fellowships and family!
Everyone Can't be in Your FRONT ROW.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones
lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are just going
downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know and
appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?
Everyone Can't be in Your FRONT ROW.
The more you seek God and the things of God, the more you seek
quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God,
the more you seek things honorable, the more you seek growth, peace of
mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to
decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the
balcony of your life.
Everyone Can't be in Your FRONT ROW.
You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people
you are around!
Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who
sit in the FRONT ROW of your life. Remember that FRONT ROW seats are for special and deserving people and those who sit in your FRONT ROW should be chosen carefully.

While we're praying for the Gaines family, also keep the Brown family in prayer from Newark, NJ. My niece and nephew cousin on their mom side was shot in the head twice and instantly killed. Was going to be a graduate of June 2009 and had a basketball scholarship. Our families are so closely knitted, til it seems as if he was my nephew.
