Upon arriving in the United States in 1974, Robert Atallah had nothing more than $32 in his pockets. He worked multiple jobs while completing his college education. After graduating from college, he opened a restaurant called the "Hungry Pocket", which, after only four months, was names the best falafel restaurant in California by the Los Angeles Times. Eventually, Robert sold the restaurant and started CedarLane, producing all natural hummus, tabouli, stuffed grape leaves and other traditional Mediterranean foods. Today, CedarLane is one of the country's leading natural and organic frozen food companies.
