We are deeply grieved to announce that on the evening of April 8, 2008; Cedella Marley Booker, passed away of natural causes in her home in Miami, Florida at the age of 81. The matriarch of the Marley Family sustained her family with her courageous spirit and was always ready to give advice and words of encouragement to her large extended family. She survived the hardships many women face when immigrating to a new country with their children, and the pain of loosing two sons yet she managed to remain a positive, nuturing, divine mother, with the rare gift of making everyone feel special. Her countless contributions gained her the respect and admiration of thousands of people throughout the world.
