General
Skating with Krystal every Friday and Saturday night. DJing every Saturday and Sunday night. Going to the movies with Melinda for Movie Marathons (3 to 4 movies in one sitting), Reading (lots of reading) ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman history. Currently I am just finishing up a one year project to read all the ancient Greek historians: Herodotus, Thucydidies (sp), Plutarch, Arrian, Quintus of Smyrna and others. Next I will spend some time reading ancient Roman authors (writing about the history of Rome). Done...Now the history of the Roman Republic. Done...Now the fall of the Roman Empire...done.

Movies
Lots of them. Special interest is Science Fiction but I'll go see anything interesting. Chick flicks I'll only go see with a chick and then I'll like many of them.
Television
Again, mostly science fiction but I loved American Idol! Battlestar Galactica is currently my favorite TV show. I also like Rome on HBO. I regularly watch the Tonight show, Keith Olberman and the Daily Show on Comedy Central. During the summer I watch "So you think you can Dance"
Books
History! and more History and Political Science books.
Heroes
Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Madison, Washington, Jefferson and generally any of the framers of the constitution. Don't leave home without it!! We just survived a close call for the last 8 years. Let's see if it gets any better.

About me:

I have been working at my regular Job (AT&T)for over 20 years. Lately, though, I am back into Roller Skating. What a kick that is. I DJ Friday and Saturday Nights, DJ for Adult nights on Sundays, fill in as manager whenever needed. My two daughters, Melinda and Krystal currently work at Fountain Valley Skating Center as well. It's so much fun.
