Bio:

Acoustic folk-rock with a Northern European edge that is not afraid of coloring a bit outside of the lines... Someone once wrote about us: "they are not as punk as The Pogues, but they have a bit of that attitude, and it gives them an edge many folk groups lack.", and we still see it as a very good summary.

Celtic, Flanders, Scandinavia, Balkanbeat, Mitteleuropa, Klezmer, blues, kleinkunst, medieval music, singer-songwriter, ska or chanson française, original material or mistreated traditionals, we take whatever we fancy, put it in our cauldron and whoever complains it's not bloody "orthodox" or poxy "as it should be" gets a smack bottom...

To locate us on the map, let's say the most recurring comparisons include The Pogues, Ambrozijn, Les Ogres De Barback, Jaune Toujours, Debout Sur Le Zinc and The Waterboys.

We like to define ourselves as acoustic folk-rock with a Northern European edge that is not afraid of coloring a bit outside of the lines... The Pogues, Ambrozijn, The Chieftains, Tri Yann, Garmarna, Kadril, Luka Bloom, Les Ogres de Barback, The Waterboys, Fairport Convention, Alan Stivell, Ewan MacColl, Louise Attaque, Johnny Cash ... but since we also listen a lot to a.o. Echo & the Bunnymen, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, Mano Negra or Noir Désir, it's got to have had an influence somehow, doesn'it?
