About Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival

Celebrate Brooklyn! is a program of BRIC Arts|Media|Bklyn and is one of New York City’s longest running, free, outdoor performing arts festivals.

The Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival celebrated its 30th season in 2008 and is New York City’s premiere free summer-long performance festival. During its nine-week season (which runs from mid-June through early August), Celebrate Brooklyn! presents music, dance, film and spoken word in an open-air venue at the Prospect Park Bandshell and attracts upwards of 250,000 audience members each summer. Known for its eclectic and varied programming, Celebrate Brooklyn! has presented world-class artists such as TV On The Radio, Philip Glass Ensemble, Dan Zanes, Angelique Kidjo, The Neville Brothers, and Brazilain Girls, to name a few.
