About me:
Celebrate Mexico Now is New York City’s first, and only, arts festival spotlighting contemporary Mexico. Each September, from uptown to downtown, New Yorkers are immersed in the vanguard of Mexican music, dance, film, literature, theater, visual art, architecture, and cuisine. With performances, screenings, exhibitions, and discussions, this annual festival imports an authentic experience of what’s going on in Mexico—right now.
Since its debut in 2004, Celebrate Mexico Now has brought over 175 groundbreaking artists and projects to 50 of New York’s leading cultural venues. More than 35,000 New Yorkers have attended festival events, and thousands more have discovered Celebrate Mexico Now through its bilingual marketing and promotional campaign.
Celebrate Mexico Now is produced by Claudia Norman and her consulting firm, CN Management, and is a not-for-profit project sponsored by The Field.
