Tom loved sports, especially baseball. That was his favorite! He also enjoyed playing the guitar... especially with his father and cousin, Walter. And every now and then, he could coax his sister into singing along with him. :) Though he was only 16, Tom went to all the concerts he could get in to. More than anything he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Music
Oh gosh, I'll never do his diversity justice, but I'll try... Cory Morrow, Pat Green, Jack Ingram, Roger Creager, Doug Moreland, Willie Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters, BB King, Johnny Winter, Boston, Aerosmith, ACDC, and some random rap... more to come later, I've got to consult some folks. :)
Movies
8 Men Out, Field of Dreams, Rookie of the Year (do you see a pattern here?), anything John Wayne, and he'd KILL me for revealing this... but Notting Hill and White Christmas.

About me: Luling, Texas: Some of the brightest emerging stars on the Texas music scene will gather in downtown Luling, Texas on Sunday, April 1, 2007 to help raise scholarship funds for local high school students during the 5th Annual Celebration of Life and Music. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Watermelon Thump Pavilion in the heart of downtown Luling, and will include a day full of music, barbecue plate lunches, auction and a raffle for great prizes including a 42” widescreen plasma HDTV.
A memorial to the life of Tom Brown Webb, IV, the Celebration has become a day of remembrance as well as a way to assist students in pursuing continued education. Tom, an aspiring musician and athlete, lost his life in a tragic automobile accident at the age of 16 in 2001. Following the example of Cory Morrow, a bevy of Texas Musicians have come forth to give of their time and talents to make this Celebration a tremendous success each year. With these “Texas Musicians jamming for Texas students” the scholarship committee has been able to present thirty-seven $2,000 scholarships to date and have committed to fund ten $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors this year.
The musical entertainment revolves around open mike acoustic sets with groups of five to six musicians sharing sets throughout the day. Joining Cory Morrow for this years event are Wade Bowen, Walt Wilkins, Brandon Rhyder, Brandon Jenkins, Django Walker, Kyle Park, Ashlee Rose, Ryan Turner, Doug Moreland, Bleu Edmondson, Mark Sanders, Zack Walthers, Nick Worley, Mike Sanford, Joe Bob Burris, Smokey Wilson, Robbie Abel, Lembo Allen, Micah Harris, Marion Quick, Bill McNeal, Matt Gardner, Clayton Irey, Walter Reynolds, and Albry Lockhart.
Tickets are available the day of the event at the gate at $10 each. Barbecue plates with all the trimmings are $6 each and raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each. Come join us for this fun and laid back day of music celebrating the life of Tom, the love of music and the power of fellowship and community. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Hello and happy Mother's Day from Ashlee Rose! I feel like family and love you all dearly.
now if you have a moment and you can favor me with a vote....I could really use your help for the next three weeks until the end of May with your online vote. I got into this competition called “Battle of the Guitar Gals” sponsored by Daisy Rock, Demo-ology.com and The Cover Zone magazine. Basically, if I can get people to click on the banner below (you can only vote once per day), my band will be up for a Daisy Rock sponsorship & could win a new Daisy Rock guitar. I played one last summer at the NAMM Show in Austin – awesome guitar! I’ll be sending out a dozen reminders pver the next few weeks so please forgive me. Each week, the bottom 5 contestants will be “sent home” and I just found out this morning, we have advanced to the second round! I really appreciate your support! Below is the banner – just click on it.
