Forming in 2006 heavy metal outfit CELEBRITY MORGUE exploded onto the Sydney metal scene as an original, high energy production.
Celebrity Morgue has headlined most local Sydney venues, Club Blink, AbductionX, The Gaelic Club and The Excelsior. In 2008 Celebrity Morgue toured to several venues outside of Sydney resulting in an established fan-base both locally and beyond.
Celebrity Morgue continue to shock audiences with visually and musically innovative performances. Taking musical inspiration from horror movies, psycho-thrillers and crime investigation, Celebrity Morgue’s gore-spattered and violently animated set has made them one of the most talked about live acts on the Sydney metal scene.
"Celebrity Morgue graced the stage disguised as hideous burn victims and, all schtick aside, these dudes could play ... They came across as the offspring of a less gimmicky Gwar and a less sombre Between the Buried and Me. Far be it for me to call anyone professional, but the four-peice really had their act down and one would think that the support acts could have learnt a lot from Celebrity Morgue's attitude, ability to play and sweet, sweet masks."
