Celeste Aldridge is a vocalist who began her singing career in the Celtic, British and American folk tradition. Her love for this repertoire was inspired by an early introduction to the music through her work at Shanachie Records.
She has since expanded her repertoire to include other styles of music that she loves and so does her audience!
Accompanied by Paul E. Mitchell on 12-string and classical guitar, Celeste is currently performing at theaters, cultural centers, pubs and galleries with great response. Her debut cd offers a refreshing and beautiful vocal approach to traditional Celtic music with a full band of musical minstrels, including lively songs and ballads that are off the usual beaten path of the traditional songs most often heard today.
