Celeste Triebeneck is a vocalist who sings in the Celtic, British and American folk tradition. Her love for this repertoire was inspired by an early introduction to the music through her work at Shanachie Records.
Accompanied by Paul E. Mitchell on 12-string and classical guitar, Celeste is currently performing at theaters, cultural centers, pubs and galleries with great response. Her debut cd offers a refreshing and beautiful vocal approach to traditional Celtic music with a full band of musical minstrels, including lively songs and ballads that are off the usual beaten path of the traditional songs most often heard today. Please visit www.trickdogrecording.com to learn more about the studio where this cd was recorded.
Her recent popularity, highlighted during an appearance on Ramble Tamble, a National Public Radio program, and other regional stations, is due to the strong visual and story-telling quality of her music as displayed in her emotional performances.
