Introducing Jane – the newest artist to emerge from the musically prolific Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area. Jane is a singer/songwriter who is quickly becoming a rising star in a region that has produced such talents as Missy Elliot, Timbaland and Pharell. Her first project, released in June 2008, received high praise and recognition from Chad of N.E.R.D, Pusha T of The Clipse as well as Grammy Award-winning artist Tony Rich.

Jane has been writing music since she was fourteen years old and singing since she was three. Although she is a classically trained vocalist, she has been able to master all musical genres. She has sung in church, competitive local and regional choirs, and has performed as a solo artist in Hampton Roads as well as Washington, DC.

Jane’s musical stylings have been influenced not only by the Virginia Beach music scene, but her life in London and New England as well. In her first release, entitled 'Hello Jane', Jane combines a maturity in her writing and singing that is well beyond her years, with the young innocence of an ingénue’s first forays into love, crushes, and of course, fun.

After listening to her first project, it is assured that the listener, excited by this new and fresh talent in the musical community, will have nothing left say but a welcoming “Hello Jane”.
