Celestial Season formed in the early 90's as a doom metal band. With the release of the album Orange in 1997, the band switched gears (and members) to put out a stoner metal sound. After 10 years and a completely new band, Celestial Season disbanded in 2002, "citing their creativity as 'fulfilled.'"

SALEM	Jan 1 2007 10:58 PM Salem is scheduled to reconstruct the Barbie Club, Kibbutz Galuyot 52, Tel Aviv, on January 11th 2007. The band promised to deliver a massive and violent set of songs, covering material from all releases, something they wanted to do since their last "civilized" concert with the ISCQ string quartet last year. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wish they hadn't quit but made more of that stuff. The violins and chello give this music a great vibe... Thumbs up to this band!
