About Celestial Static

"Celestial Static makes a lot of fantastic sound for three people!"Collected Sounds review, Dec 2004.
Celestial Static is Julie Elzerman (lead vocals and guitar), Jeremy Elzerman (bass guitar), and Jason Morris (drums).

Jeremy and Julie have been playing in bands together since 1996.
Celestial Static originally formed in 2000.
Jason joined the band in March of 2004.

Celestial Static has defined a unique sound of thick, spacey guitar over energetic drums, and driving bass. Their musical style is found in a similar vein as Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins, and old-school Radiohead. The sound is made complete with catchy, melodic female vocals mixed into the contrast of the edgy rock grooves.

Celestial Static offers hope for those looking for a young band not infused with the current nu metal/hardcore/hip hop trends that currently rule music (Phantom Tollbooth).
