About me: The Cellar Door is the most unique entertainment venue in the Central Valley. It's a wine lounge with more than just wine- over 80 different beers and a list of appetizers including pizza round out a menu that boasts over 200 wines.
The Cellar Door by day has a quiet and comfortable feel, and serves as a great after work hangout, a place for celebration, or even business meetings. Something magical happens on the weekends, however.
The Cellar Door by night turns into a surprisingly eclectic music and live entertainment venue that hosts a variety of acts ranging from local talent, to acts from around the world.
Why travel outside the valley for entertainment, when we have an entertainment hub in a central location for very economical prices? Take a look at what else we have to offer at the Cellar Door, located in downtown Visalia. We do more than just wine...

Who I'd like to meet:
Interested in a gig at The Cellar
Door? Here are a few things to know before you contact us.
There are 2 people booking for Cellar Door. Talent
buyer Aaron Gomes, books and promotes larger shows through Sound N Vision
Foundation, while Marisa Galland books local and touring acts.
If you're emailing Marisa, please put "booking"
in the subject. Do not myspace her, and calling won't help much
either. She gets a LOT of phone calls and messages every day, and myspace
has very limited messaging capabilities.
Be patient! You aren't the only band asking for
dates. Patience does not go unnoticed! There are only so many dates to
fill, and a ton of bands that want dates.
Know the venue. The Cellar Door is an eclectic venue,
but there are certain types of music that bring more of a draw than
others. Also know that we are a 21+ venue- so if all of your fans are
under age, your show probably won't make much sense here.
Do not send CD's/DVD's unless they are asked for.
Electronic press kits are greatly appreciated!
Booking another show in the same area within 2
weeks is a bad idea, it will affect your draw, and ultimately, your
payout.
LOCAL BANDS: If you are NOT working with Sound N
Vision, you are your own promoter. The Cellar Door is a venue, not a
promoter. Aaron Gomes with Sound N Vision IS a promoter. Your payout, and future
bookings, generally depend on how much you promote yourself and how many
people come to see you.
Mid-week draws are obviously smaller than weekend
draws.
