LIVE ROOM: 25x40 room, double and quadruple wall and ceiling construction. Two good sized isolation rooms with windows to the control room and to the live room. Heavy solid oak doors throughout the studio. Acoustic treatment design by Ken Kuipers of Auralex. 24 Metro diffusors on the ceiling. This is a facility built from the ground up in 2000 and it was designed to be a recording studio. It is not a pre-existing building turned in to a studio.

Cellar Records is the creation of Billboard and Cashbox charted singer, songwriter, musician, engineer, and producer Todd Anthony Joos.
Todd is currently one of 10,000 voting members with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) This is the organization that puts on the Grammy Awards show. As a Nashville recording artist with Stargem Records, Todd had several releases chart in Billboard. Many of the Nashville records charted in the top 40 nationally. He has toured and played shows with many major label artist. He has been in several Rock bands that toured as well. Todd sings and he can play drums, guitar, bass, dobro, mandolin, and piano. As a producer Todd has engineered and produced hundreds, if not thousands of recordings. In addition to working with a huge list of indie artist Todd has also worked with major artist and industry pro's like Dizzy Reed (Guns N Roses), Gates Nichols and Jimmy Doormire (Atlantic Records Confederate Railroad), The Animals (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members), Bob Ludwig (mastering engineer, Rush, Nirvana, Eric Clapton, etc...), Nick Blagona (mastering engineer, recording engineer/producer Foo Fighters, The Police, Rainbow, Ian Gillan, etc....), Leo Jackson (nashville session musician and producer. Band Member of Country Music Hall of Fame artist Jim Reeves and the Blue Boys), Dale Sellers (Nashville session musician Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers), Dennis Ritchie (Nashville engineer/producer Patty Loveless, Hank Williams Jr., etc...), Wayne Hodge (Nashville producer, David Allen Coe, Little Jimmy Dickens, etc...), Lou Thez (former world heavy weight wrestling champion), The late Bob Hope, (Hollywood legend), David Frazier (former Atlantic Records artist with the band Outspoken). Todd is a published BMI song writer and in addition to running the studio and the label he is also the owner of Sound Cellar Music a successful music publishing company with BMI.
Cellar was developed to provide a full service recording studio and record label for established and new artists. The studio and offices are located in Dixon Illinois, the home town of former US president Ronald Reagan, 100 miles west of Chicago. The studio is a state of the art 24 track analog and digital facility featuring an in-line 48 channel DDA QMR mixing console with Neve microphone pre-amps.
