SYNOPSIS
CELL DIVISION tells the story of LISA MUNRAE, an introverted, lonely girl who has a very strange obsession: that the rules of the universe are dictated by Plato's Symposium: that every man and woman were once joined but have since then separated and are desperately searching for their "other half." Her efforts to find her double ending up futile in the past, Lisa seems to have given up hope until a strange young man, TOM WILKE, a newcomer at school, connects with Lisa. She gives all of herself to the newly arrived Tom, sincerely believing that he is her "divided cell." Is Tom's attraction to Lisa merely superficial? Does he truly believe in her, or will her obsession scare him away? Is Lisa just a hopeless romantic, or is she truly insane?
