About me:
I JUST FOUND THIS OLD POSTER - the VAULTS - was were i used to spend most of my time - when i wasn't sleeping. A fantastic entrance - a tiny stairway down to the old city. A rabbit warren of tunnels that had been claimed to club in. There is a room for every mood, and you have to journey through them all to get to the bar. I am sending my thoughts from the future. If you’re receiving this that means my escape was successful. That means I’m free again. I thought that was worth recording. When I was nine, my father crashed us deep, in the biggest northern jungle. He died on impact and my mothers body was never found. I took what I could from the burning wreckage and walked away. It took me three months to find my way out of the jungle. In that time things happened to me and I was changed. I learned how to track down food and water. And by the time I got back to civilization - it seemed I could find anything I wanted to. My father had died owing a huge debt to an overground gangland boss called Whitey. When I reappeared he took me in. Now my fathers debts passed to me. I survived in Whitey’s world by using my power to find things for him. Which worked for a while. Then as I got older things got dirtier and it began to change me.Whitey thought he owned me and I realized that the debt was never going to cleared. So I ran. Now I spend my days with Tuffy. Living under Whitey’s radar. We run for our lives, hunted down like foxes. We left our homes and our friends, we became something new. We became what we had to survive. I didn’t ever feel like we escaped. Just that Whitey had let us go, for a while. Whitey let us go because it suited him. Like he might have a use for us in the future. I always felt that he could just tighten his grip around us any time. Whitey’s army grows bigger everyday. He now runs super clubs on the outskirts of Logres city. Still I had my powers. I could find anything I wanted. I found us food and work finding things for others. And one day I’ll find a way out of this thing with Whitey. My days before leaving earth have been well documented. (Celph is a 32 page, a5, printed b/w comic in three issues. Copies are available on request from - apbatch25@yahoo.com .) .. When I was 15 I went back to the crash site with a few mates. I managed to bury what was left of my father. And also bury any hope I had been carrying that my mother would just appear one day. I went back year after year and carved a simple Pooka totem in the stone above my fathers remains. That whole area was littered with ancient Owlman artifacts. And I began to make a small killing selling the smaller stone carvings, which I could find as I just wandered around up there. It looks less like a crashsite now. The trees have grown around the twisted metal. The scorched ground is lush with grass. And the last time I was there a Mirror bird must’ve nested nearby. It wouldn’t leave me alone. I would sit there, trying to meditate and drink myself into self pity, and it would constantly tap me on the shoulder. Like it was wanting to start a fight. Big things Mirror birds, I swear I wanted to glass the bastard. In the end I decide just to go before the sun set. The bird followed me to the edge of the jungle squawking all the way. I was going off planet, so it’ll be a while before I’m back. I decided the Mirror bird could watch over the graveside for me and left with only a few peck marks in my jacket.

So well done mate, as i try to finish off my first book i realise just how much work is involved. But I'll get there eventually....I gave yer spare copies to some guys at work into their comics/arty stuff, and they were all lovin it! Thanks again, get scribblin' on celph 3!! :)
