Celtic Assault is a five piece, dual singer, female drummed metal band based in South Wales, UK. With the sound the band mix old school metal with nu-metal hoping to unite both groups of fans with thier music. BBC radio have described Deans and Wezs vocals as 'Bon Jovi with balls meets rage against the machine' and the guitar playing as ''I havent heard a guitar being played like that for a long long time''
The band have come far over the last two years having worked with a number of high profile artists including MTV's DIRTY SANCHEZ and were finalists in the Afan FM 'last one standing' battle of the bands competition, the only metal band in the final. 2005 has already seen Celtic Assault become band of the week on Valleys Radio 999-1116am and various other stations have played the band such as Red Dragon FM. On March 7th 2005 the band was interviewed and played on Americas 'the big dumb fun show' which is aired to over 3 million listeners all over the world. Celtic Assault recently sub-headlined at Afan FMs ''live and loud'' gig a live outdoor gig at the beachfront that was broadcast live on the station.
With thundering riffs, blistering guitar solos and big choruses the band aims to be powerful and original, mixing the old with the nu.

Hey Celtic Assault! This is LiXu formerly of UK metal band Balance of Silence. I moved over to Hong Kong, stole the old BoS profile and now have a new Rock & Roll / Metal supergroup based in Hong Kong by the name of Gong Wu! You once commented on our old band and hopefully it was a positive comment you left! Our new music is very different but we are rapidly gaining ground over here in Asia. It will only be a matter of time before we will be going worldwide. Please come and check out our last demo we completed last month. If you like what you hear please help support in any way you can as we need your help! Tell your gran, auntie, whatever, every little helps eh?
