.. SARAH J PRICE ; Cardiff City supporter, Guitar player since the age of nine months. Retired Piano player, poet and dancer, Multi-instrumentalist, Playwright, Author, film maker, Actor. director/producer, cartoonist, Poet, Stand-up comedian, Animator, songwriter who's been known to knock the odd tune out too - Passport states - Entertainer.......... Retired Dancer and Poet. not that either where ever a strong suit - barely chain mail much less actual kevlar plated full body armour!! .. I have always loved music, there's always been music in my family my granddad could play the piano by ear, he would have been better using his fingers but you can't tell men anything. Two of my great aunt's "THE TWO JOAN'S". were a musical hall operatic duo. My great uncle Byatt earned a living from his piano playing and Bartone voice in pubs and clubs. My Mum was classically trained pianist and played the odd Concert as such. My Dad a Drummer who played in both a military band and The Steel Drum Band 'The Synicopaters.' So it was little surprise when I started to pick out nursery rhymes on a toy piano before I was 18 months old. I was already singing and dancing and a terrible ham by that stage. At the age of three I was given my first real guitar which my great aunt and uncle had hand made for me in Spain, because I was sleeping not only with my Teddy ' Pandy' but also my pink plastic guitar.within a month I had mastered three chords and was on par with Status Quo! .. .. .. .. ........ I have always loved music, there's always been music in my family my graddad could play the piano by ear, he would have been better using his fingers but you can't tell men anything. Two of my great aunt's were a musical hall operatic duo.THE TWO JOAN'S.My great uncle Byatt earned a living from his piano playing and Bartone voice in pubs and clubs. My Mum was classically trained pianist and played the odd Concert as such.My Dad a Drummer who played in both a military band and The Steel Drum Band 'The Synicopaters.'So it was no suprise that I sang and danced before i could walk almost. At age 8 I won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.I have performed in musical theatre, including productions of Bugsy Malone,Grease The sound of music and Annie. And went on to play in several rock bands, during my what I think of as a well spent youth.Bands include; The family group; Pieces, Alka seltzer, UXB, Charity. Corperation Street, Msbehave, Jazfuzunk, Doomtown, MDOW, Inca Dream & ....... I am an acclaimed song writer.well if I don't say it no one else will..Well One guy did but then he's a real sweetheart. At one time I balanced being in five different bands all very different in style, unfortunatly I am a little disorganized in my life, which resulted in myself and boyfriend Jabba (his surname was Hutt.) with whom I was in an acid jazz band.Turning up for a gig.at the right time and place but for the heavy metal band I was in.And he wasn't(.He played Sax) I think they missed out big time.It would have given us an edge! They had the cheek to sack me!!I thought my folk guitar solo was the hi-light of Smoke on the water. I have also played in Macbeth.the lady no less. and I continue to work in the Arts.I currently have an iron in the fire, and a project in the pipline. My poetry/Lyrics have been published worldwide, winning great acclaim in the US of A. I am proud to say that "Making Music" has become my passion again. I have to thank JRM for that. But most of all outside of my family.....star's the lot of them. I have to thank my IMOM..for his continuance, for holding me together and lighting up my darkest place in ways he'll never know. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... I LOST MUSIC FOR TWO AND HALF YEARS .AFTER LOSING MY DAD. I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH A GUITAR IN ALL THAT TIME. WHICH GIVEN THAT I GOT MY 1ST PROPER GUITAR, WHEN I WAS THREE. & I HAD PLAYED EVERYDAY FROM THEN ON.I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THAT I HAD TO FIGHT AND WORK REALLY HARD TO GET 'IT' BACK IN MY LIFE IT HAS BEEN A MASSIVE UNDERTAKING, BUT I HAVE DONE IT MUCH TO THE SORROW OF YOUR EARS I KNOW. YOU KNOW THE KID & EVEN JRM PUT IT BETTER.....LOOK UP NOT DOWN.TAKE TO MANY PHOTOGRAPHS AND LAUGH LOADS. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME...........PITY IT'S NOT AS EASY AS IT SOUNDS.

BIo Skip if you have any sense!!

I am a Coal miners granddaughter. My ♥ parents ♥ were musicians and bikers. Something about me? Well I am a lot like me, for I am unique.... Just like everyone else!! RETIRED ; DANCER, POET AND GOTH!! CARDIFF CITY SUPPORTER, who plays the guitar and writes a bit... On this Earth for just one reason, to leave everyone I encounter with at least a WRY SMILE, If I can work that into a GIGGLE and take someone's troubled mind to a different place, if only for a fleeting moment that is my validation...... One day I vow right here right now that I will write something that will touch many. ( I know I already have, hard part is pulling all the pieces together) ♪ ♫ ♬ ♪ ♫ ♬ ♪ ♫ ♬ NOW TO THE BIO BIT; ( You might want to skip it. I know I would!!) I have always loved music, there's always been music in my family my granddad could play the piano by ear, he would have been better using his fingers but you can't tell men anything. Two of my great aunt's "THE TWO JOAN'S". were a musical hall operatic duo. My great uncle Byatt earned a living from his piano playing and Bartone voice in pubs and clubs. At the age of 8, I won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. unfortunately I was unable to accept the place due to financial reasons, However to make it up to me, I started 'proper' guitar lessons and gained all my classical grades, I also mastered Spanish, folk, country, pop and Rock styles, I have performed in musical theatre, including productions of Bugsy Malone,Grease, The Sound of Music and Annie. however musical theatre is not where my heart lies and I openly admit it is not to my taste. I have played in several rock bands, during my what I think of as a not at all misspent youth .Bands include; The family group; Pieces - Charity. Corperation Street, Msbehave, Jazfuzunk, Doomtown, MDOW, Moondance, Double Trouble, Inca Dream & Rebel Sheep say MOO. My poetry/Lyrics have been published worldwide, winning great acclaim in the US of A. which resulted in me working with Country legend Willie Nelson. My heart lies with my comedy writing, I have written material for amongst others Ken Dodd, Roy Hudd and his Huddlines, ( One skit made the end of year compilation ) Bob Monkhouse and Charlie Chester, I have also written material for several singer songwriters, and have penned several successful radio plays and a commissioned sit-com. I also contributed a story line to one of the worlds much loved and most popular Drama's and the spinoff book with sold millions in both it's hardback and paperback formats. the programe won a bafta the year I was involved I LOST MUSIC FOR TWO AND HALF YEARS . My career Hi-lights to-date I guess are ; My part share in a BAFTA and doing 'The Edinburgh Festival' in 2008.
