Fellow Kill Hannah fans and friends. For those who have not heard. The guys had the van and trailer stolen in the wee hours of the morning of 11/11 from in front of the Holiday Inn in Philadelphia. Apparently the City of Brotherly Shove harbors a band of thieves who prey on starving indie bands as Mae was a victim of the same fate one week ago. Those "friends" of mine here who are in the tri-state area, please notify your local pawn and music shops of the gear listed in the press release. One guitar even has a serial number posted. As for Greg's Ernie Ball bass we all know it's unique embellishments so it's pretty easy to describe to people and very noticeable if it comes across a shop's counter. The list in the press release is obviously editted for space. Remember that there are a number of amp cabs, lighting instruments and pedal boards involved along with other electronics. The saddest thing about all of this is that money can replace this gear but there is a lot of sentimental value that can never be replaced. These guys have schlepped most of it around for that past 10 years. It has its own personalities. So anything you can do to help the band or law enforcement on this is appreciated.
