About me: Our Job: To Help Women Build Better Lives for Themselves
The only comprehensive women's development center in South Carolina, the Center for Women (CFW) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in beautiful Charleston, whose mission is to make personal and professional success an everyday event for women in the Lowcountry.
The CFW has reached more than 60,000 women since it was established in 1990, connecting thousands of women across the Tri-County area to professional sources for practical help by providing counseling, facilitating peer support groups, and making referrals.
We provide educational programs on important issues such as emotional, physical and financial health, life transitions, discrimination of all types, multiculturalism, and career and business.
Our educational outreach programs are particularly popular and well-attended, including The Brown Bag Lunch Series, The Entrepreneurial Woman Series, The Annual Centering on Women Conference, Special Entrepreneurs Networking Event, The Annual "It's In The Bag" Purse Silent Auction, and monthly Support Groups.

I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.

I think the biggest disease the world suffers from in this day and age is the disease of people feeling unloved. I know that I can give love for a minute, for half an hour, for a day, for a month, but I can give. I am very happy to do that, I want to do that. ~Princess Diana~
