DMX GETS DOWN WITH CAMRON VERSUS JAY
DMX went on Hot 97 with Funk Master Flex yesterday and let it all hang out. The man sounded wilder than he ever has been and when I mean wild I mean wild. But, the craziest thing is that he aligned himself with Dip Set in their declaration of war against Jay-Z. Below is a little bit of a real conversation between Camron and DMX.
Camron: I already know your pain over there, brother. We in the middle of a hostile takeover.
DMX: I want to be a part of that hostile takeover! This is what we gonna do. You be America. Ima be England and we gonna take over whats the name Iran? Iraq? We taking over the Middle East right now!
Camron: We gonna send the troops in and lets make it happen.
DMX also did an impromptu spelling-style rap where he once again dissed old schooler K-Solo! WHAT? He actually dissed K-Solo, a rapper that most young bucks havent even heard of. Those that dont know K-Solo had a song called Spellbound, where he spelled words as he rapped. A classic joint, Spellbound is, says Yoda. But I digress; DMX says that Solo stole the style while the pair spent jail time together. He proclaimed on air that he would duff Solo out. Now, I have to give him props on using the word duff. There arent too many words that quite capture the essence of a beat down. Anyway, if we are lucky, this will bring K-Solo back to life and the two of them can have a spelling bee together. I bet the fat Asian kid wins!
