CENTRAL MASSIVE, is a group of DJs, MCs and producers gathered around YOUTHMAN. It’s the connexion of French Drum & Bass veterans like BROOXS and PEYO, with the new generation like REDEYES, YOUTHSTAR and LITTLE J.
Their talent and the quality of their productions is internationally acclaimed, with releases on the biggest labels on the scene like Chronic and Bingo Rec. ; and broadcasts on BBC1-Extra and Kiss FM .
Last year CENTRAL MASSIVE producers released several tracks on the fattest players on the D&B scene like Bingo or Trouble on Vinyl for Redeyes and Peyo ; and also Brooxs and Youthman, with Le Lutin, under the Audio Unit moniker. Their tunes get played by the most respected Djs in the movement like DJ Hype, Roni Size, Fabio, Grooverider, LTJ Bukem, etc… Last summer during a famous festival in France, no less than four of those gentlemen mixed Redeyes ’s Pusherman.
When it comes to performances, members of the CENTRAL MASSIVE have played everywhere in Europe ; from the Swerve Sessions at The End night-club or, Movement @ Bar Rumba in London, to the popular I Love Jungle, at the Nouveau Casino and Glaz’Art in Paris or Madrid Massive at Twist in Madrid. Even further for Redeyes and Youthman, who didn’t hesitate to export French D&B sound as far as Asia ; shaking dance floors in Bangkok, Beijing or Hong-Kong.
