Centreflunk.com was started in April 2005, after information was mistakingly given to me by Centrelink's Freedom of Information Department.
Information they said that I was refused access to as it was "private & confidential" between Centrelink & The Department of Public Prosecutions office. The same information the DPP's Office stated they never received from Centrelink.
Earlier, Centrelink had taken me to court to recover "moneys owed to The Commonwealth of Australia".
Yes I had a debt to Centrelink, I "volunteered" the debt, expecting approx' $1000.00.
Centrelink's "records" stated I had a debt of $5300.00, for which I foolishly repaid without questioning at a rate of $100.00 per week.
2 days after the final payment, I received a summons, which was issued to Centrelink four months prior, to appear in court.
Centrelink stated, which is on public record, that the debt had not been paid.
I then produced my "MYOB" payslips which showed a Centrelink repayment of $100.00 per week, totalling $5300.00, Centrelink then went on to say that I hadn't declared wages.
The fact is, I did declare, Centrelink withheld all the information & evidence from the DPP.
The information provided showed that Centrelink had falsified financial documents & withheld other vital documents from The DPP's Office. Another document provided showed that Centrelink had defamed me on an internal memo.
After being constantly banned from approaching any Centrelink branch, I felt there was no other way but to "tell the world" via the WWW.

Centrelink are fucked. They've ripped me off THOUSANDS in the last year & half - one of those payments was a sickness benefit, where I could not work at all. To this day, I have not been able to afford medicals to get better and I still suffer, while trying to work a 40+ hour per week to get on top of the debts I incurred while waiting for payments.
They made me provide doco after doco for weeks, and after nearly 2 months told me I was not eligible for a claim. My doctors & professional workers have given every piece of document to get me my claim, and still, nothing.
On top of this, I set up an account to pay back monies from years ago, from stating the incorrect after tax amount (I'm talking, 21 CENTS DIFFERENCE!!). I set up an automatic direct debit, and they stopped it without me knowing. Months later, they send me threats they'll get debt collectors if i dont pay - WHEN THEY STOPPED THE CLAIM - NOT MY BANK!
This is just the start of it. I'm so over them it's not funny. I voted Kevin in and he needs to focus on what our community is receiving - we're being treated like unintelligent mongrels with no purpose & I've tried to fight city hall - and will continue to until I get a fucking message through.
I need to share with everyone what else centrelink is capable of!.... Im a single mother with a 13yo daughter. Im going overseas for 4 wekks and my daughter chose to stay here with her nanna. I done the right thing by centrelink and informed them of my plans, they told me over the phone, "thats fine, your daughter will still get your pension while your away". What they DIDNT tell me over the phone was that while Im away, I have to destroy the healthcare card because it is now invalid! After I got that letter I rang them and the complaints number but there is absolutely no way my daughter is allowed to use the healthcare card that her name is on while Im away! I just hope she doesnt get sick coz if she does I will sue the arse off them bastards!
If you have to go for a job capacity assessment, never answer yes or no to their questions. Always give vague answers.
Because they are trying to categorise you.
I almost got onto the pension, but the liberals made it harder. (I'm going deaf and there's nothing on the various forms to even apply).
I was convinced by various people to go on the DEN (Disability Employment Network) which is just a scam. Companies like Interwork and Disability Works Australia exploit 'numbers' of disabled people to meet their quotas in order to get paid.
See, 14 people go through a 'pre-screening' or "two stage" process where you have to go through an interview which you have to pass before being passed onto the potential employer.
Only, I don't think the job actually exists. Why is the same job being offered every few months?
Oh and by being 'assessed', 'screened' and 'processed' (and becoming a puree!!) I mean they are looking for ANY reason not to pass along your details to the so called employer.
Never sign anything. That's how they get paid. Also, Interwork tried to push me into applying for 6 weeks of UNPAID Work Experience at a Coles or Woolies store. This is illegal isn't it?
I made the mistake of applying (and signing the form) and them telling me that they'd get back to me.
Oh and I've seen their quota whiteboards. They don't give a shit about you. They are robots.
NATSEM an economic think tank did some modelling of the impacts on the actual take home pay of a single parent earning a basic wage for 15 hrs per week on 'newstart' and it found that the parent will be effectively $100 a week worse off, than if on the previous sole parent pension.
This amounts to working for about $2 per hour. It takes into account the amount of the Centrelink payment you lose as well as increases in rent payments and the tax you pay. This is called an 'effective marginal tax rate'- it means that single parents will pay about 60c in the dollar due to what they lose through benefits
centrelink grrrr you really want to me to start.... or do u want to hear me delema haha i FN hate centrelink which should be un australian except we have too many gov agencies all working together n not together that it makes it australian to hate the wankers.. yer cant be bummed im trying to find work and a career so i can f^&k centrelink off all together .. they are causing me debt for no apparent reason and heart ache when it comes to finance's...... the ombudsmon told me friday that itl be resolved in 7-10 days..... the same problem which by chance is a stooooopid computer error will be fixed .. for the 8th time by the way .. i know what the problem is due to previous problems but do you think they care about the single parent living in rural WA who has no access to a centrelink office pffft they get paid every week so they dont care .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr umble
My daughters GRANDMOTHER HAS to work in order for her to keep her dole. Last week she could only put in 15 hours work coz it was a a slow week so she was told to look for another job by centrelink. Im wondering if we're gonna need permission to go to the loo soon?
