One of my favorites: Daddy Daycare-I'm sure there are many more. But it's something about this movie that I really enjoy...I appreciate the portrayal of a "FATHER" taking care of HIS "SON" and not depending upon a wordly system that is capable of failing at any given time. It takes me back to the BIBLE....as a demonstration of order and family. That's just my view...Read and listen to more about the Kingdom in my Blogs...

Who am I? A woman with many styles, crossing many miles for ONE PURPOSE...and that's to do the will of the Lord.
This is my journey of blessings and favor...From Fayetteville,NC to G'Boro, to the Queen City and Beyond...laughing)I know a journey never starts and ends at the same point...Embracing the ride. So God Take me there...God really does have a sense of humor? You've gotta learn to laugh w/HIM and cry with Him too.
I-love-to-Sing---Anyone that really knows me understands that...If you want to know me...just worship with me...How Great is our God! and I do believe that ALL will see...I'm a really unique but fun person.To be in my corner, you MUST bring positivity and some humor."Don't be so MAYO" I believe God uses worship in my life to accentuate the numerous artistic aptitudes as well as a means to capture those who otherwise would dwindle away due to discontentment or lack of interest in getting to know the TRUTH through the word of God. Y'all I'm just glad to be a vessel. Warning:sometimes authentic worship is birthed through PAIN!!! And of course HEALING is available...You'll catch that later. Oh yeah, you can talk with me too. My ministry(relative to music)began when I was just a young child(actually it ALL began before I was formed in the womb)Check out the book of Jeremiah.(ha) I know that it originated from God, but HE allowed it to be initially raised in a Christian Family environment.(the "Church" family and natural family) I would call it "The Village Encounter". Yes,It still takes all of them and that! Not even mad about it.I was a bit shy and reserved, but I always loved to sing...and always got a word out to somebody whether they were listening or not. If you keep talking, Somebody's gonna listen...I was brought up and began singing as a young girl in Murphy's Chapel HBCOG church choir. The ministry is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.One of the late great founding leaders was Pastor A.R.Murphy and is currently under the leadership of Pastor Willie Bell Jackson. My ministry as it relates to music and the choir progressed from Murphy's Chapel HBCOG, under the musical director, Matthew C. Kelly(My Brother) as well as Mr.William Murphy; As then I was eagerly and discreetly following in his(the brother)tracks while discovering and being developed in my identity(God's Original Idea). So you want to know if I can play an instrument,more specifically the keyboard? Yeah, I can play instruments: the tambourine,(lol)oh yeah and give me (a) drum stick and you might get (a) beat from your set. But give me a keyboard and all that you will hear is twinkle, twinkle little star.(Isn't this so lovely) Music and so many other diverse talents are truly all in the family. I was later introduced to more musical exposure through song from Becky White and The Fayetteville Crusade Community Choir. While attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I had the privilege to minister through song with the Neo Black Society Gospel Choir, as a choir member, a vocalist and a Praise and Worship Leader.(Somewhere along the way, I was adopted with the name "Hymnal")You know, I actually think a bit of "Hymnal" started in middle/high school) I always annoyed some with my humming(lol)...(way to go Tarrika)(smile)She knew it was always in me. They said I always had a song and a hum for everything. This is true. You got a problem and I got a song.(this is too funny) For those of you who may be pressing through tough seasons, NEVER lose your song! As a member of the Neo Black Society Gospel choir I had the benefit of sharing the stage with artist such as Donnie McClurkin. In 2001, there was an ultimate detour which brought me to Charlotte, North Carolina. I would call this the TRANSITION. God has His way of redirecting your course and putting you back on track. He'll use what or whom He wants.(We'll have to chit chat about that at a later time)Trust Him, He'll do it. In 2004, God extended His A.R.M. (from A.R.Murphy towards T.L.Murphy) (I'll say for a temporary moment)to me and I was led to New Birth Charlotte, where the Sr. Pastor is Terrell L. Murphy under the Spiritual Headship of Bishop Eddie L. Long. This is where the TRANSFER was initiated. Here I had the opportunity to minister with Total Praise Choir under the leadership of the Sr. Worship Director- Minister(Elder)Cory Bradley along with Ladonna Mole and Shawanda Caldwell. Here, God afforded me the opportunities to serve in various capacities which initially consisted of: Worship Arts Ministry-attending to some elite artists in the Gospel Music Industry, as well as those that have yet to be fully recognized for the magnitude of their original purposes that God has placed within them awaiting a release.(Look Out!! There is a BIRTHING...it's almost time to PUSH!!! I know some of us are LONG overdue. YOU just gotta be in the RIGHT room) & Be very cautious of how the womb is being nurtured-You must not destroy the seed. In 2008, I would have to call this the year of MY Great Awakening!(A Person's Capabilities may Far exceed what you see them do;I am somewhat of a late bloomer who arrived early.I know,it just doesn't make sense to some and it won't-STOP TRYING TO FIGURE GOD OUT)I hope that encouraged and/or moved someone right along. Remember in "DUE SEASON" GOD exalts. I will always trust God as He continues to develop me and grant opportunites to fulfill HIS purposes and my desire.(I've taken the limits off of God) That is: To extend Christ to the nations through the UNIQUE means that are graciously imparted into me and by utilizing the DIVINELY CONNECTED, beings, institutions, and/or associations to fulfill this KINGDOM mandate in love & excellence and not manipulation. That will preach right there! (whooo!) I am forever transforming in HIS presence. In the presence of God, We all should be.
I can be at times a very undefined person.(never let anyone put you in a box)My now question for you is: WHO ARE YOU, Has God given you Your Life Mission and Do you Know what it is; as I continue...I'm a speaker. Just want you to Remember, It's not I but the Spirit of my Father who speaks through me. (take that as you wish) As far back as I can remember, I have been speaking. I'm a writer. (Exploring the gift in various avenues, seeking the RIGHT SOURCE to assist me in developing the artistry)I love working with children and families & ministering to others utilizing biblical principles and life experiences and so much more. Dear Religious ONE: Please do not be threatened. My life has not always been about the church although in the church. Are there others that would dare to SPEAK ON THAT! I am not ashamed and would be more than Glad to share w/you how God has and will continue to be glorified in my life. I know that you can't tell by looking at me. GREAT!!! This is only ONE testament of how God really does conceal HIS Glory. By the way..Laughter is a must, But Pure Worship is my sought after lifestyle. I remain excited in the-things that God continues to RENEW/REFRESH and MANIFEST in me as my spirit remains open and teachable. So Important..(they have always been there before there was time so nothing's really new right???) "I WILLINGLY GIVE MYSELF AWAY"(love the lyrics-So in season)as HE places me in the right grounds to bring forth that which was planted in me before there was time...God is forever faithful!! Right now I'm being kindly reminded of God's Promises and His Faithfulness(Laughing): Psalms 91:16 "With LONG life I will satisfy him and show him MY salvation" as well as Zephaniah 3:17 "...He will QUIET you with His love..." and I get the point...but just one more thing...I LOVE TO SING =I LOVE TO WORSHIP!!(that's just for me) & I Like Me, 'Cause God likes me....Were you created for this Cause?

I have to capture an upclose piece of her legacy before she departs, which is no time soon),Bishop Eddie L.Long(His Approach leaves the nations in awe. We are nations(did u catch that?)Tyler Perry, Jada Pickett Smith(Her balance stunns me),Co-Pastor Susan Owens(done)(What a Dynamic, Straight forward Fireball she is! She Brings a FRESHNESS to the word of God-This ain't canned Baby) Pastor/Vocalist Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton(He amazes me with the quality of sound and how he consistently puts out hit records. Every TIME???...How do you do that?) I want to meet and provide outlets and opportunities for... the Child that feels lost, the girl/boy that writes/has talents waiting to be developed, but no one recognizes their gift outside of their actions, the boy that has been labeled, and can't get beyond what he hears, the young lady who speaks, but never obtains the opportunity to share with the world, and the wives who are left to nurture, but no ones really nurturing them. My list goes on, but to start...There it is. I do believe that these are everyday people with extraordinary lives!!!________________________________________________________________________
I'd like to meet and converse with MORE confident people who are not afraid of life. You know those people who have a dream/aspiration,ASSIGNMENTS- but may not have all the answers, but are excelling anyway as well as those that are gleaning from and willing to give knowledge to others. When we as people go through things in life we tend to be a bit more vulnerable along with feeling a little insecure and/or unsure. This does not mean that one lacks faith or confidence, functionability (my word) skills, the ability to live or to love, progress or advance. This does not give the go ahead to take advantage and then discard. This is a time when those that truly care should draw near and not manipulate and create any more burden or chaotic circumstance. If anything, those around should try to lighten the load instead of sucking more life away from them. Even if its as simple as a kind word of encouragement or a hug. It doesn't take much to show that you sincerely care! Let's say a little more than mouth movement. In this God truly will reveal who to keep close and who to let go for good. Or should I say God reveals the duplicators of His Love and the imitators of Falsification. It is true that We must deal with life & look at our challenges but I like to view things in this light. When its dark you will surely hear more naysayers, but you will always see your true friends; but when things are really going well or begin to brighten you will see and hear more naysayers but you will have friends that are celebrators. These are not the ones that show up simply because you ask, they are the ones that show up & you feel the sincerity in their hearts of truly desiring to Celebrate you and be a part of your life and not just an event. This should give us all something to think about! Above all of this always Hear the voice of the Lord and remember that everybody needs somebody and if you can't be there for a person during their worse moments when they reach out, don't be a fool to appear when its getting bright! God is a God of more than a second chance; and let's remember that Forgiveness is real and so is wisdom and common sense... Always know that God cares and He shows it! Much Love from Valisha J.
