Okay i'm back!!! but don't you hate how people write there bio's and act its 3rd person but its really them writing it... lol... CHARLIE WAS BORN ON APRIL 6TH 1989... HE WAS A WISE LITTLE BABY! LOL... none of that...
Okay... forget all the history stuff from when i was little... lets jump straight into the beginning of how my little company turned into what it is today... actually before i bore you... I'm going to tell you what SpitYoGame.com is and has done! The highlight of my career was working with and being on tour with the #1 artist in the world... Soulja Boy... me and Soulja boy started working together when he wanted to work with me and my company back last february... then once he got his record deal we hooked up here in atlanta (where i live, born and raised)... i hung around the collipark studios all the time so they got to know me down there... so all summer long i was "cranking" out videos and SpitYoGame.com was turning into the ultimate hip hop community for independent artists... so this is what happened... it was a memorable day in my life... it was the end of summer... i went to register for my 2nd year of college (Georgia Perimeter Community College) ... and i paid for my classes... i lost my scholarship the year before Because of bad grades so this year was a pain because it was so expensive... i was pissed!!!! so i got home from the school... and i got a call... it was from from soulja boy's manager... Derek! That is when everything changed... he said interscope wanted to send me on the soulja boy tour leading up to his album and they needed me to do all the coverage of the tour!!! best time of my life!!! on tour we hit 2 cities a day! slept 1 hour a night... we worked our asses off... hit 2 radio stations a day and like 2 schools a day and a show at night!!!! it felt so good to be apart of a project that huge... #1 song in the world! The most memorable thing from the tour was at the VMA's... when i was in the Kanye West Suite at the Palms Hotel... and Kanye came up to me and gave me dap!!! I was so amped!!! i was bouncing off the walls that night... it was the best feeling in the world...
So to continue on... i got off tour in october... came back to atlanta and got on my real SYG grind! I left ATL as charlie... and i came back as CEO Charlie... SYG Blew UP! and the respect for my company was so much higher! We had a movement going on here in atlanta that i helped generate and head up... i guess i was the common denominator behind it all... Dem Get-A-Way Boyz... Young Envy... Cash Camp.... Pop It Off Boyz... Tha Joker... Lil Spreezy... Lil A the Teen of Crunk... ect It is an amazing thing we've got going on here in Atlanta! we are all young and all taking over the industry!
You may see me in pictures with my camera... that camera is what got me everything i have today... i decided to take control and make these independent artists more of celebrities in the eyes of the fans! i always kept the camera on them... and SpitYoGame.com ended up being the only website that really cared about the young independent artists of Atlanta!!!! Labels started paying attention slowly but surely and started calling me... I was on the phone with one of the label a&r's and i asked him..."Nigel... what do i have to do in order for the labels to start paying attention to me?"... he told me to go out and sign an artist...
My folk Young Envy told me about his friend Taylah.P who was in this girl group called the Vistoso Bosses... I checked out there music and OMG! i fell in love with them instantly! I was hooked! i wanted to sign them sooo bad!!! so ends up... a couple months later i signed them... and Karl Washington and Mr. Collipark at Collipark Music signed them Instantly! I am now in management on Collipark and Interscope!!!!!!
WHOOO HOOO!!!! if you made it that far... u must really care... now i will tell you a lil bit about my struggle in life... i do thank god that i am alive today because according to some doctors... i should be...
When i was in 8th grade... i remember is when i got my first migraine headache... and everyday it got worse and worse... i lived with them until i was in 11th grade... it was hell! i would have to leave school almost everyday to go home and crawl under my bed Because the pain was killing me... i went to the doctor for over a year and they just gave me whack medicine that did'nt help!!!! one day... the pain got unbearable and i said fuck this shit!!! and fuck that goddamn doctor!!!! i got all the phone numbers of the doctors at the hospitals here in atlanta and i just stayed home from school and called them... ends up... that day i went to a new doctor and they found a brain tumor... It was wrapped around my left optic nerve and my coronary artery... my other doctor never thought of getting me a MRI!!!! well... i was out of school and home bound for about 6 months... i was scared and depressed during this whole time... then one day... i made a decision for force myself back into the real world...
I always was about business... in middle school i sold candy... in 9th grade i sold fitted hats... 10th grade... throwback jerseys... 11th grade... jordans... 12th grade... i had a brilliant plan!!! its what you see today... i remember it like it was yesterday... i was at the lunch tabel... with 1 peice of torn up notebook paper... my friend MT... and Yung CEEJ were listening to my idea about how i wanted to take soundclick out of the hip hop genre!!! they all kinda just laughed at me... Well for my entire 12th grade year i was programming the site... i would stay up all night... my friend Omari would see me come to school basically sleep walking... he always asked if i was okay... but i was dedicated to get it done... and once that summer hit!!! I hit the streets and began the take over!!!!!
SpitYoGame.com went from having 2 members sign up on the first day to now having over 26,000 members! Im now with collipark/interscope! i signed the Vistoso bosses! I've been all across america in almost every city! i helped many artists get their record deals! and i'm 19 Years Old! It has only begun! Im excited about everything that is going on!!! I love succeeding but what i love most... is helping other people succeed to... i don't want all this for myself... i want everyone around me to experience this also!!!!!
Thank you MOMMA for supporting me all the way! I want to thank the people who helped me get here! Lil A, Soulja Boy, Karl Washington, Tom Slick, Mr. Collipark, Young Envy, JR, all the artists that REP SYG everyday! and all their fans who watch the videos!
