Ceol Miners is a new name for an old schitzoprenic band with three core members and about as many past players as you can count on your fiddlin fingers. That's where the schitzo part comes in. Every time we change our spare member we have to change our name. This seems like a good name, so sorry for all of you musicians clamouring to get in to our group, tough luck! We're just too old to change our name again and probably couldn't survive losing another member. In all seriousness as you can tell by our profile picture we aren't all that old but we are definitely schitzoprenic. We are mostly an irish pub band with a phenominal web presence. We really like playing music together and people actually seem to dig what we do. So by all means check us out.

Wow! You guys sounded great last night!! Not only did you get people dancing (a big compliment @ the Speakeasy) but you also pulled people in off the sidewalk! Bravo!
What do Bog Rockets and Ceol Miners have in common? Three great Celtic musicians.
I'm proud to call you all my freinds. I love listening to your music (wish I could hear it more often). And I especially love the opportunities to jam with you, even if I have trouble keeping up with you sometimes!
