When life gets super stressful, sometimes a cathartic release is to do something that is purely for the fun of it, with no obvious ancillary benefits. Out of this ethos were born the Household Songs. Starting with humble beginnings, in a voice embarrassingly reminiscent of a young Adam Sandler, came song that started it all: Shower Time. More household songs followed, thankfully less Sandleresque. There are currently 11 such songs on the first album, titled "Household Songs." There are already four new songs written, which will comprise the appropriately titled "Household Songs, Vol. 2."
Each song reflects a different household chore or other activity of daily living. Subtext, for the most part, has been left out. Washing the dishes for example, has never been as exciting as now, when it has its own special song.
