...oh, plus Ted never said it was just porn that egged him on - it was his obsession with it. that's a major difference the Holy Circles seem to miss. an obsession to that degree is a disease, not healthy viewing of the sexual act for personal or group stimulation, hee hee!
well, it's a factor like any other in related cases - a variable. for most (like Ted) it was a mixture of issues, much like you wouldn't say Dahmer just killed because of just loneliness. mass consumption of something, like the internet and porn - which has become way more of a social norm than the 'perverted'/hidden thing it was in Ted's lifetime - usually tends to ease the experience of it, which doesn't seem to foster the usually self-admitted 'naughtiness' of it for the user. nowadays it's nothing at all, unless in old school strict circles. back then it was considerably more of a taboo, and i think therefor more exciting for those who might be stimulated in the wrong way by such things. again, just a variable.....

hee hee! Ted did just say it helped fuel what was already going on in him, and being there for the porn revolution of the late 60's-70's (where he was able for the first time to view things he had never before, eventually in the privacy of his own home/mind, what-have-you) pushed it even further. it is totally lame how they have taken these admissions totally out of context (i.e. the whole story of how he felt he came to be what he became), and then running mad with it, like every kid who looks at porn is going to trip off years later and hack up some co-eds. and plus - yeah - the man was a complete trickster by nature! he knew just how important he would still be now, 20 years on after his execution.....
