Interests

  • General

    I collect various things. My main collectibles are Carousels. both the individual carousel horses and full carousels. Coming in second are Teddy Bears, both the figurines and the stuffed ones. I also collect angels and bells. I hope to someday have a bell from all 50 states. I also have a big DVD collection and a big book collection.

  • Music

    I am a big fan of Evanescence. Amy Lee has the most awesome voice. Her music really speaks to me and describes many of the ways I feel. There are many other artists I enjoy, but Evaanescence tops them all.

  • Movies

    As I said above I have a large DVD collection. I enjoy various types of movies, Twilight, The Covenant and Vanilla Skies are among my favorites.

  • Television

    I love my ABC Soaps. I also like shows like Ghost Whisperers, 90210, Ugly Betty and many others.

  • Books

    I have a large book collection. I love the Harry Potter books, The Twilight saga and Stephenie Meyer's new Book The Host, V.C Andrews, John Saul, And Dean Koontz. I recently started reading The Immortal Series, This series is written by Alyson Noel.

  • Heroes

    The heroes in my life are those that have always been there for me.

About me:

I live in Southwest Iowa, in a small town, I prefer small town living rather than in a city. I have lived in bigger areas before like Des Moines and Fort Dodge. While I did like Fort Dodge, It wasnt the type of place I wanted to raise a family in. I have been in the small town I live in since 1994. It has became home. The day is getting close where I will be going through the empty nest syndrome. Chris and Brian both graduate in 2010. I am still trying to figure out what happens then. I am a loving and caring person, I am also a little on the emotional side. My feelings do get hurt quite easily. Sometimes I act out when hurt. Sometimes there will something totally different going on that is bothering me and I will take it out on someone I love or care about. When I hurt, I hurt deeply, To the soul you could say. I am also unfortunatly very forgiving. More so than I should be.

Who I'd like to meet:

People who are for real. So tired of fake friends who are only there when its convenient for them. For once I would like to meet people who are more like myself. I am always there when my friends need me, and I just wish they would be the same way. Some one who wont let me be alone when I am down or hurting.
