Ceri and Christine delight in unearthing stories. The duo take a refreshingly simple and understated approach, revealing the beauty and subtlety of welsh traditional melody through fine musicianship and an obvious rapport. They bring this same subtlety to folk songs in both welsh and english.
Ceri has toured internationally, both solo and with fernhill, the band he formed in 1996. He is a key figure in the renaissance of welsh traditional music, as a musician, researcher, composer, arranger and producer.
Christine comes from the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. She has been working with fernhill since 2004, in the same year she won the first Welsh Celtic fiddle competition. She guested on Ceri's 2005 solo flute album yscolan which sowed the seeds of this collaboration.
