Described as a cross between 'The Beastie Boys' and 'Motorhead', their live shows have received rave reviews. Having honed their skills on the stages of some of the biggest festivals in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia, the organized chaos of their shows is a breath of fresh air, in times of soulless art school pop and anaemic indie posers.
The band was formed by brothers, Steed(guitar) and Junior(vox) initially as a side project for Steed’s metal and punk infused riffs, who in his time has played extensively with bands such as The Exploited and Suicidal Tendencies. Recruiting friends Jim(vox) and Fraze(bass) the line-up was completed when they spotted drummer Snars destroying the kit at a local show. In the years since Certain Death have laid waste to many a stage, including Festivals and gigs in Stavanger; Norway, Berlin, London, all over Britain including a performance a T in the Park in 2004.
