‘Cesar’ was born a Leo in the mean streets of Detroit MI originally with the given name of Charles E Grace II. Born in a city known for music ‘Cesar’ has it in his blood. By the age of three he was entertaining and partying with the adults in the home of his parents who were also lovers of music. As a teen he began to write about personal pains, experiences with, around and of his friends. Just life period ‘In the Streets of the D’ and before you know it there was the first hit for the album ‘The Balance of Nature’.
Motown lost its original sound a long time ago so Cesar has taken it upon himself to bring its originality back with the diversity of what the eighties meant to Detroit. So Techno, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rap, Funk all equals Skoney Music that is what the sound of Detroit (The D) music is all about. As a producer as well as a writer you can experience a vivid and accurate picture of Detroit music.
Natural emotion, living life in some way shape or form that can relate to. That is what you feel when you take a journey with one of Cesar’s albums. The newest album to be released ‘Return of the Boom’ is just that the experience of the return of the city with the Boom Detroit is back and ‘Risen’. WHO AM I, Cesar born and raised in Detroit MI. I am a Producer, Lyricist, and Writer. I was inspired to do music by Too Short, Britton (Brit-Skee) Turner, Mike Mike, Stretch Money, DMW, Nat Morris, DJ Flash from NG, Marie Nelson, The Police, Barry White, Craftwork, Nas, AZ, Big B from AWOL (a Detroit Artist) along witt Trick Trick (a Detroit Artist) just to name a few. My music is motivated and written from personal life experiences, and the respect for the craft as a whole molded me into who you hear today. This is WHO I AM......
