We are an early-medieval living history group, based in Derbyshire, re-enacting the last 100 years before the Norman Conquest. We are a member group of Regia Anglorum. Our aim is to accurately recreate the life and times of the peoples in and around the British Isles prior to the Norman conquest as accurately as possible using archaeological evidence where possible or contemporary evidence such as manuscripts.
Our members come from all walks of life. We have teachers, students, financial advisors, care workers amongst our members, all of whom share a common interest.
When you look at our photo section you will see we attend many events during the year, form small local shows to large national events. Television work is also something we get involved with and various group members can be frequently spotted on television.
