About me: This is the myspace page of the Tennis Team at the Lone Star College-CyFair. aka LCS-Cy-Fair. However we as a team, prefer the original school name 'Cy-Fair College' as opposed to the Lone Star name. We are the fighting ducks. We are large and we are diverse.
We made team of the Year for the state of Texas in the USTA Tennis on Campus. Way to go Ducks.
We are a community college club sport team consisting of nearly 30 tennis players. We have players from all sorts of areas and backgrounds. The team plays other club college teams such as the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas A&M University, University of Texas, Lone Star College-Kingwood, Lone Star College-Montgomery, Houston Community College and other club teams. We also participate in the USTA Tennis on Campus events. We are a proud and fun loving team. We are by fair one of the best club teams every from a community college in the state and even the nation. We can hang it with 4-year schools. Unlike other club teams and schools we do no cut players from the team. There are no tryouts. We are here to help you. Beginner to Advance, though beginners may not play as much as others. We are lead by various veteran leaders and by an amazing coach with Collegiate playing and coaching experience.
We are a close knit team. We hang out together. Have BBQs, celebrate birthdays, play tennis, go camping, movies, pool, and much more outside of practice/matches/tournaments. We aren't teammates, at the Cy-Fair College Tennis Team, you'll make friends. You will be hard press to find any other school that does this.
