About me:
> What is CFC YOUTH?
* CFC YOUTH is a Catholic youth ministry, which is authorized under the Vatican, consisting of members, ages 13 to early 20s. CFC Youth as it is known in the US and the Youth For Christ outside of the US can be found in over 40 countries and all over the US. We strive to live our everyday lives to the fullest for and in Christ.
> So CFC stands for Couples For Christ, does that mean you have to be a couple to join?
* No, that part of the name does not mean that our members are coupled up with one another! CFC Youth is a branch under the family ministry of Couples For Christ. Couples For Christ is the parent ministry, in which its members are married. CFC Youth is for young adults.
> How did CFC YOUTH come about?
* CFC Youth was found in the Philippines and became established in the United States in 1994. After 2005, CFC Youth in the United States took on its formal namesake after using the name Youth For Christ for many years. So if you hear people refer to the group as YFC, we hope this will clarify the confusion.
> So what about Campus Based CFC YOUTH?
* Since the community of the youth is so widespread and diverse, Campus Based CFC Youth was founded to continue the support to grow in faith away at college. Our mission for Campus Based CFC Youth is to "renew the campuses through Christ."
> Okay, cool... but why CFC YOUTH?
* Because we are not just a campus club or youth group.This is an instant family, where true brotherhood and sisterhood is formed. And most importantly, a true, loving relationship with God is also formed. But enought talk. The only way you'll really know what we're all about is to come out to our meetings!

* Meetings offer a break to kickback and relax with friends and God through games, songs, prayer time, and many other activities. Our meetings are a time to promote growth in our members' personal relationships with others, themselves, and God. These get-togethers vary weekly; it's always something new and fun.
* COME and CHECK US OUT: Winter 2009 Meetings are every Mondays 5 or 6pm locations to be found below. Meeting and fellowship details such as locations and activities are announced weekly through email. If you would like to be a part of the e-mail list, please e-mail us at cfcyouth.ucr@gmail.com
