About CHOKE CHAIN

Hailing from the wretched hell that is Richmond Virginia, Choke Chain was formed over 6 years ago by rhythym guitarist, Matt Wells. As with any band, members were weeded out to form a better sounding, more brutal and reliable team. There's currently over 3 and a half years with the current line up excluding the new lead guitarist LJ, who was just more recently added in 2007. The band has played all over Virginia with some killer unsigned bands as well as very known national acts such as GWAR & Six Feet Under among their favorites.
We have built a dedicated fan base and love to play our music for them.

Current cd's available:
The Taste of Flesh : which was recorded in April 2005 at Karma Productions. Featuring 8 full length songs.
Hateful : demo recorded at Red Pole Studio. Featuring 4 full length songs.
