"Despite the dogged down-to-earth-ness suggested by their band name, Realistic Crew weave together some daringly left-of-field hiphop-tronica on their new album, Overcome. The Hungarian duo of Cabz and Krizo have been working together since 2001 and have recently branched out into making film soundtracks. You can certainly hear a link between that discipline and the kind of evocative sonic universe set out here. The jittery atmospherics and jazzy details of 'Teletaxia' recall Dictaphone, while the odd, seasick trumpeting on 'Skunkfeet' finds itself plunged into a realm of sound effects and field recordings, with the solid boom bap beats and distant piano chords maintaining a grounding in conventional hip hop territory. Although there are one or two guest vocal spots dotted across the record it's the instrumentals that prove to be the real draw on Overcome - the upright bass and rimshot grooves of 'Inevitable' proving to be just one of several standout productions."

Our new album - Overcome - recently got signed by Kitty Yo
How rich and colorful the new album became surprised even us. It grew out organically, almost by itself, of the countless days and experiences that we've shared together.
We managed to get rid of some constraints and the work with seasoned live instrument musicians made both the kids and the sound of the album more mature. And we're very happy for that.
Our new album is coming out on 25th february, 2008 on iTunes, Beatport, Snocap etc by Kitty Yo
REALISTIC CREW was founded in 2001 by Chabz and Krizo, who both began their musical careers in alternative rock bands before making the transition to electronica at around the same time.
Having worked with the cream of Hungaryís underground musicians and vocalists, they have now signed to Kitty Yo and are about to release
their album ëOvercomeí. Recorded with their new members Dodi, Albert, David, Dalma and Zeek, OVERCOME is testament to the multi-faceted genre that is hip hop.
Their first album was a double E.P. Test Lies / Grow Grow, each of them recorded independently. Laced with Eastern European folk Chabzís GrowGrow is an experiment in the traditional meeting the new wave, while Krizoís offering is a slick example of urban-gone-abstract.
Having made the soundtrack of the multi-prize winner feature film (Black Brush, dir.: Roland Vranik) they are busy composers of commercials, feature and short films.
Deep melodic grooves converge to produce truly cinematic music that balances somewhere between the abstract and experimental while exploiting all instrumental and vocal possibilities.
Having opened for artists such as Amon Tobin, they are in high demand as live artists, their performances being as unique as the beats they put down in the studio which are also enhanced by powerful visuals provided by their VJ team Monkey Presso

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.
S*10 MONDAY SESSION 2009.11.16. @ TŰZRAKTÉR ELSŐ ORSZÁGOS ÉS NEMZETKÖZI S*10 BÖRZE + KIÁLLÍTÁS MR. MASTERS, FANTOMAZ, POKE1
Hétfő este is meglesz mindkettő, sőt. Kozmikus Percek Live!
Lemezek, könyvek, borítók, flyerek, plakátok, kitűzők, matricák, festmények! Vizuális sokkhatás! Extra: vetítős barátaink cuccait, azaz a Fussi márkát is bemutatjuk.
A rendkívüli hétfői hangulatról szokás szerint az S*10 rezidensek, Mr. Masters és FantomAz gondoskodnak.
To celebrate our first 27 releases on Section 27 Netlabel, we proudly present to you "Sectioned", a compilation of 27 tracks, amounting to 2 hours across two discs of twisted electronic beats, discordant melodies, haunting passages, broken ambience, bending senses of time and space, microscopic glitches, pounding bass frequencies, sounds between sounds, the human voice and the audible sensation of music dissolving in acid. This is the sound of your mind's eye. This is the sound of the Sectioned... Strap yourself in and enjoy the experience.
Also features a 75 minute bonus disc "Sectioned : Nonimxs", including 9 remixes of selected Section 27 artists by Nonima and 2 original tracks created by Silent Snow and Nina Kardec using existing Nonima tracks.
Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
