Chad Lister is a 20 year old worship leader from Raleigh, NC. Chad has been playing music since he was 5, when beginning piano lessons. Through the 8 years of ministry, God has woven these following things into Chad's heart that have become the foundation of his ministry: the love of music and excellence to the glory of God, understanding & sharing the gravity and hope of the gospel, a passion for believers to engage with God through musical worship, and a calling to encourage & serve the local church, the bride of Christ. God has shown His faithfulness time and time again for Chad to have the opportunity to do solo events while also traveling and playing with a band. Alongside Chad's solo endeavors, God has allowed the him to be a part of a dynamic, itinerant ministry with Dr. Alvin Reid from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chad and the band love to travel with Dr. Reid as it is always a great time of fun and ministry. God has afforded many opportunities for the band over the years including opening up for Shane&Shane, BarlowGirl, BigDaddyWeave and MercyMe.
Aside from traveling, Chad is on staff as a Worship Leader at Richland Creek Community Church, his home church in Wake Forest, NC. Chad leads weekly with the house band for the Sunday Morning Contemporary Service. Chad Lister Band leads at TWO|FOUR, a weekly college worship service. From smaller acoustic events to weekends to full out summer camps, Chad and the band have the same heart: Sharing the hope of Christ, helping people engage with God, and giving Him all the glory.
And on the Second Stage: Flowers for Faye, Greystone Chapel, Wake the Fallen, Written in Red, Jon Lloyd Band, Runaway City, Crimson Refuge, and Philmont!
